Hope House
Community Hospice

Identity Design

Project Brief

Develop a brand refresh for Hope House Community Hospice that captures the sense of warmth and refreshment they aim to provide their clients in a bold yet familiar format

Hope House Community Hospice has been a cornerstone in providing crucial wellness and end-of-life services to people in their community. They participated in Creative Day For Social Good 2024 with the goal of updating their identity to better represent their services and engage with their target audience.

My role on the team as a student designer allowed me to coordinate client calls during the event, drive the creative development of the logo and supporting applications, and create a PDF brand guide the client could use within their organization to maintain brand consistency.

The solution incorporates elements from their original branding, namely the heart within a house, and brings in elements of warmth and trust through the use of a serif within the wordmark and bespoke illustrations that create a versatile set of icons. These icons can be used in the primary logo in place of the original heart house to help differentiate the various programs and services the organization offers.

More Than Care Campaign

In addition to the identity design, my team and I developed the More Than Care Campaign, a social media initiative that draws attention to the fact that Hope House Community Hospice delivers more than end-of-life-support.

It utilizes brand illustrations and the phrase “more than care” translated in English and other primary languages of the client’s target audience, aiming to deliver the message to as wide a group as possible.
